As our count down to the 2010 AAU Kung Fu Tai Chi National Championships continues…I want to remind you that we will be adding 3 possibly 4 new members to the National Executive Board this year.
This group is the steering group of the AAU Chinese Martial Arts to be a member is not only an honor but a big responsibility!
So far Masters>> King Lam of New Orleans, Donna Minshew of Austin, Blue Siytangco of Houston have been nominated for these positions.
Nominations will run through July 15 for the name to be placed on the official ballot. All candidates must be vetted before the August 10, 2010 to qualify to run. You must be an AAU member to qualify and pass a background criminal check.
I would like to encourage all Sifus to get involved in the AAU at some level and help us to build the most active and democratic Chinese Martial Arts division in the world!
Nominations can be sent to any NEB member and they can send it to be vetted my myself or National Vice Chair Dug Corpolongo.
